Wafaa Bilal

Waffa Bilal is and Iraqi-born artis, Bilal is a Professor at a New York University, he is a visual artists whom is recognised for his interactive and performance pieces.

Bilal had a small digital camera implanted into the back of his head as part of an art project that was commissioned by a museum in Doha, Qatar, the project was titled "The 3rd I". The camera that had been implanted in his head captured his everyday activities at one minute intervals 24 hours a day. The images that were taken were then transmitted to monitors at the museum.
